CoD leaker fuels hope Black Ops 6 & Warzone will “get a comeback” with Season 3 update

A Call of Duty leaker has convinced players that Season 3 for Black Ops 6 and Warzone will mirror last year’s MW3 update and “deliver the best Season 3 ever.”

The mid-season Season 2 Reloaded update for BO6 and Warzone was launched on February 21, 2025, introducing the highly-anticipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover, along with weapon buffs, nerfs, new maps, and more.

Despite the Bullet map being deemed the “coolest” map ever by many, the update has faced criticisms over failed weapons buffs and nerfs, expensive TMNT skin prices, and a “pay-to-win” Operator that players can’t see. Meanwhile, CoD’s player count has continued to fall.

Trusted CoD leaker TheGhostOfHope, made a mysterious post to Twitter/X account, posting the ‘Taking Notes” Emoji alongside 2023’s content roadmap for Season 3 in MW3 and Warzone.

CoD leaker suggests devs will “deliver the best Season 3 ever”

The top comment on TheGhostOfHope’s post claimed, “Treyarch is taking notes and will deliver the best Season 3 ever confirmed.” The leaker simply responded, “Smart guy.”

Another player speculated, “I’ve been telling y’all. BO6 will get a comeback, it has to,” to which Hope replied, “They still haven’t abandoned the game for BO7 so yeah I think so.”

“BO6 Season 3 gonna have a s**t load of 6v6 maps I’m assuming,” one more said, as Hope simply responded again, “Smart guy.”

Others suggested specific maps. “Hoping Fringe is one of them,” one said. Hope responded, “It’s not Fringe but you’ll like the remaster I think.”

Another added, “Arsenal, Frequency, two new banger maps and I guess a small map or two please,” but Hope replied, “No idea why people started believing that Arsenal and Frequency were gonna come to the game.”
